Referrals

Where indicated- to familial cancer clinics, genetic services, breast surgeons, allied health specialists, psychologists and other specialised services.

Breast symptom workup

 

New lump, nipple discharge or other breast concerns, including organising imaging and biopsies, actioning results and establishing a treatment plan.

​Medical support through breast cancer treatment

Specialised GP care, working closely with collaborators including McGrath nurses and allied health professionals. Integration of specialist input from oncologists, surgeons and radiation oncologists and care coordination.

Cancer survivorship

 

Evidence based, long term follow up for those who have been through breast cancer treatment. Focused on addressing the whole person in their life after cancer diagnosis and supporting them to live well. Includes those who have completed treatment and been discharged from cancer services, as well as support for those living with metastatic disease.
