Welcome to
Harmony Breast Clinic
Hello

I am Dr Cherie Graziotti, founder of Harmony Breast Clinic.
Working with people and families experiencing breast cancer has always been close to my heart. Two strong, brave and beautiful women in my family lost their lives to breast cancer before the age of 40. Other women in my family have been treated for breast cancer and made a full recovery. Research is growing, treatment options for breast cancer are constantly evolving, and breast cancer outcomes are improving.
As a GP and Breast physician, I have seen first hand the struggle many face in trying to weave together the many complex parts of their diagnosis and treatment, especially in regional areas. I have also seen women who feel that while their breast disease is managed, the 'rest of them' can remain unintentionally overlooked by the mainstream medical model.
Rather than this experience, with its many parts likened to a cacophony of disjointed and grating sounds, I would like to give women an experience where many parts are brought together in a soothing melody that can allow healing.
And so...Harmony Breast Clinic was born.
Professional experience
Cherie graduated from medicine at UWA with honours in 2007, and won the prizes for top medical student in her graduating year for the clinical subjects of rural general practice, paediatrics, developing world medicine and palliative care.
Cherie pursued further training gaining a Fellowship for the Royal Australian College of GPs through multiple rural placements, interspersing training and qualifications with having her three children and absolutely loving being a mum.
She completed a postgraduate Clinical Diploma in Palliative care through the Royal Australian College of Physicians in 2021.
Cherie has been a passionate advocate for health and education of women in disadvantaged countries, working voluntarily as the National Project Manager for an NGO in India for nearly 20 years, contributing to building and running health facilities, and providing access to education for families living below the poverty line. After several stints volunteering in India with this NGO and founding the Australian chapter, she established an annual university exchange for Australian medical students to volunteer in India, which is now formalised and in its 16th year.
Cherie and her young family moved to the Southwest in 2014 to begin work in GP in the area. She joined the Breastscreen Bunbury team in 2017 as a Breast Physician alongside her GP role in Busselton. She was also part of the team providing inpatient services at Busselton Health Campus on a casual basis from 2015-2021. In 2022 Cherie became a Senior Medical Practitioner in palliative care for inpatients at this hospital, as a member of the WACHS Regional palliative care team.
These roles, continuing alongside her work at Harmony Breast clinic, have enabled Cherie to establish good working relationships with health professionals across the South West. They have given Cherie in-depth experience in caring for 'the whole person, for the whole journey' when it comes to breast disease.
